Yeah, bids on all of them. Does anyone here really have a handle on these being fake? I don't have an Isabella quarter or a trade dollar.

The 1877 Trade Dollar they're selling is definitely fake. There are problems with the branch (missing stems) and multiple discrepancies in the wheat bundle (wheat heads different lengths relative to each other than they should be).

    Time to report their listings...

Wonder how he found a CC Trade dollar in China without any chop marks.

Just a thought to save you some time... When viewing items there's no need to ever encounter listed items located in China (or elsewhere if there are more you discriminate), as you can sort search results to exclude or limit items to certain locations, like showing only search results for items located in the U.S.

its sad because the people buying them are from the US.

They are all fake. We need to report each listing. If each member reports them, they will be taken down faster. Let's not make anyone get burned by this counterfeiter!

EBay, in their infinite wisdom, decided to eliminate the "replica" category, where these fakes were selling for two dollars (with free shipping). Now the counterfeiters just list them in the regular categories, mixed in with genuine examples. Looks like the CFe Group is going to be working overtime.

They might not even know this is starting to happen, Jim. I mean, I sure do hope they start working overtime and simply BAN all those sellers 北京市, 北京!

The coin/metal doesn't look right to me either so I agree that it's most likely a fake. And like Jim said "a CC Trade dollar, with no chop marks"? What in the world.......

That seller is honest! He says so in his item description.

The Isabella should weigh 6.25 grams - the Chinese coin is 5.34 grams. That alone says it's a fake.
