So I was trying to go to the posted link of the cent Winged Liberty bought, and it came to nothing on ebay. I went to Ebay to manually look it up and didn't see it anywhere. So I went to the GSC Ebay page (http://myworld.ebay.com/greatsoutherncoins/) and it says that they have a positive feedback score of 0% and total feedback of 11433. No items for sale, no sold items. SO I was wondering if Ebay shut their operation down or what happened to them?
The item number for that coin on eBay is 280884758535. I can't get the link to work in the other thread either...who knows. Don't worry, if they got shut down, it wouldn't be much of a loss
Great southern coins was their original name when the were located in Abita Springs LA. When Katrina hit they got slammed with negatives and restarted.
Well it seemed like for a year after Katrine they had some kind story about it in every auction. Wish I could remember it. Anyway they moved from ebay to another auctions site - maybe it was yahoo - again can't remember. Anyway when the other auction site closed they moved back to ebay. Anyway I have bid on a couple but they always seem to bring way more than they should. I have pretty much started ignoring their auctions - you can almost tell by the little picture when browsing it is GSC coin. Anyway - this is just my opinion on GSC.
