i cant get a realistic value on these looking through ebay completed listings. i know they are only worth a few bucks each most, but i could use some opinions on grade and value. thanks. 1909 1935
A good site I discovered recently, to give your coins a minimum value we need a melt value which right now is $3.25 for your coins in total. http://www.junk-silver.com/calculator/british.aspx?coins=uk To get a coin value: (these values are in British pounds) http://www.coins-of-the-uk.co.uk/values/index.html#index I would pay $5-$8 for your coins (only if I needed them for my collection) you might get $10 if you`re lucky Hope this helps -Owen
Sorry just seen you added another sixpence so add another $1.30 to the melt. The die cracks I don`t know much about to be honest
just looked at that site and it says the melt on the 6 pence is $2.63/each, and the 3 pence is $1.23. what were you basing the $1.30 on? EDIT: oh, i see. not sterling, 50%. gotcha.
The site is a bit confusing with all the coins looking the same, all you need to remember is all pre 1947 coins are 0.500 silver and all pre 1920 is 0.925 (sterling).
Ok. thanks. i was looking at an earlier 6 pence. lots of coinage over there. you guys(british coin collectors) must have your hands full.
