hot lips!

Such a great find i am so pumped i always wanted to find one and monday i was looking through morgan rolls for better dates at a pawn shop and saw this right off. I guess it doesnt hurt to verify the vam but im fairly sure this is the one.what do you all think.

thanks topcat... question anyone have an isea on value? i was thinking about$80-$100?? i could be off i know it carries a bit of a premium

 

also, does anyone have an idea of the grade i was figuring fine but may be vg. help is appreciated.

 

That sure is a nice hot lips score what what I assume you paid for as if it was a regular morgan dollar! I dont know ebay prices but as far as value, I'd say around $100

Cool find! While this variety is more of a condition rarity that can bring very strong money in higher grades, its relatively common in lower grades. Value-wise I would have to say that $100 is a bit optimistic, this would depend on the venue in which it were offered. If on ebay with quality photographs and offered as a "buy it now/best offer" its possible that it could bring more as it does look to have nice remaining detail. If looking to sell, test the waters and see what happens.

 

Definite "hot lips, and a nice, clear example of the Vam. You did very well on that one, and enjoy it. Agree with the previous posters that it is probably in the $90-100 range, and a great find for you!
