Morgan Dollar experts help needed with 1885-O Vam??

    Here an 85-O with 1885-CC Vam#2.
    But this one has a very large dash.
    has anyone had one graded and a Vam number assigned to an 1885-O like this one?

    MD I been there and found not one that was even looked a little bit like this one. also checked this link->http://www.ashmore.com/vamupdate/ to also nothing matched it???
    Maybe this is just a Very big die crack but there has to be more that one.

    Have you posted the coin in question there, Jello man? I would if I were you. They might help you better.

    Could be a die crack, or a metal fragment that adhered to the die during the strike. I have never seen that as a published VAM. My honest answer is "I dunno." Die crack or extra metal fragment stamped into coin from another coin's remnant seems possible.
