Morgandude11, on eBay, the seller lccoins has every kennedy silver proof from 1992-2011 in pcgs pr69dcam listed about two times per week. Sometimes they go for more, but if you wait and bid you have a very good chance of getting them for under $20, except the rarer ones of course. About a week ago I picked up a 2009 for $17.50 and a 2011 for $16.50, plus $2 shipping on each.

I bought a few coins at the Long Beach show this week. But the most exciting new acquisition didn't cost me any money. This was the 2nd Long Beach show where PCGS had a coin grading competition and somehow I ended up being the winner with 10 out of 20 coins graded correctly!!! First prize was this:

Thanks, because I have been paying around $25-27 including shipping. If I can do better, that is great. The earlier date ones (1993-2000) seem to go for bit more.

Wow, i typed that whole long post and didnt include the grade of the coins I was talking average prices about! :foot-mouth: Yes, I am stricting talking about PF69 Ultra Cameo, which is every single coin I have after 1972. Not PF70UC or the lower grades. Sorry for the confusion if a bunch of you were thinking I was crazy. I take it for granted everyone knows I collect PF69UC, but that's kinda silly of me, why would everyone know that?

Regarding where I am getting Silver PF69UC for $22.00 a coin + $1.00 a coin shipping. These were all from Collectors Corner and recently (Feb/March), where there are no ebay fees (although there may be some sellers fees I am not aware of). I looked for months on ebay and started tying other places. Contracted a few sellers via Collectors Corner, and found one that had every last date I need for the silver coins, all for a flat $23 / coin shipped.

I actually keep detailed stats, and I can show that I have paid as little $10.50 shipped for silver kennedy, but thats a combination of alot of luck and alot of persistance after losing alot of auctions. Including the 1995 and the more recent purchaes at 23/coin, the average is very slightly les than $20 each.

Picked this up at the flea market

I was thinking about maybe having these re-graded. Any thoughts?

Looks nice as it is, but I can't see enough of the coin to get an idea of what luster or hits maybe on the coin.

My newbs from the Heritage auction today.:) These are Heritage's pictures. The 88 will be released from prison to roam free in the Dansco.

1917 Lincoln Cent. I bought this potential monster for $90 raw off ebay last week. After sending a friend of mine a few photos, he emailed back that "It has the look of a coin that has been in an album for a long time and appears that it at least has a shot at making an MS66BN grade". That would be a dream. It has no spots and no marks, that I can see at least. Sorry that the photo is a bit dark, I shot it using my iPhone with a few beams of morning sunlight wafting in through my east facing windows (no artificial light at all).

Do you plan on sending it in to get graded? It looks really nice. It's probably just your photos but it does have a Matte Proof look to it. Odds are it isn't, it's just how it appears to be in the photos, especially the second.

tmoney, yes, it's getting submitted to PCGS. It does look a bit like a Matte Proof, however the last year the Mint made MPL's was 1916 -- so this is definitely a business strike coin.

More than one resource says that there were likely MPL's made in 1917. I will swear that I have seen one cerified on Heritage, but it is not there now.

Just picked this up off eBay. Definitely nothing compared to gbroke's outrageously toned Buffs, but this is a nice high-end AU/low-grade BU Buffalo with soft rainbow toning. The spots and hits are minuses, but for $15 it's hard to go wrong! (Seller pics below; re-portraited)

Hmmm...was that from Great Southern Coins? I always had the impression they sold cleaned coins. Awesome coin either way!

Love your Buffalo's! I don't see any signs of cleaning on the 1917, but I will let PCGS make the gradable determination as they are smarter than me!
