I had a wonderful local show today! My boss gave me a few Mint State early commems' to sell and a 1921 Peace in MS-62. Not only did I sell that one for him, but I bought one for $100 and sold it a few minutes later for $125. The spread on that issue isn't great, as junky ones are bid at $80 and AU is $125. But nevertheless it is still one more coin I got to own to help shape my career. At a coin show a few months ago I bought a $5 national bank note from Ilion, NY, for $100 and sold it for $250 a few minutes later. I gotta say I am extremely happy and thrilled God gave me a start in the career of kings.
I hear ya chief... and does this job pay well? Have an excellent benefits package with great health coverage? 401K? Paid holidays and vacation? Christmas bonus? Probably not....
Well I think it's cool. Congrats on making some nice transactions, even if you dont get a 401(k). Oh wait, I work and dont have one of these either, and I am not in the coin business. Wish I did, but no reason not to go into the profession you are clearly excited about. Have to get your LLC/S-corp, or whatever you are, a SIMPLE IRA. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SIMPLE_IRA
