    silentnviolent accumulator--selling--make an offer I can't refuse

Hi everyone. Recently aquired at a local auction in 4 lots, check out these wheats. I've included pics of them all as there were 16 in total.

    First are a 21S and a 23

It is cool to get some nice wheats at a local auction. I've often bought a nearly complete book for pennies on the dollar (notice the pun).

    another 24D with suprises!

This 24D is in, I'd say, F12..... but then I noticed the reverse is rotated about 30 degrees. So I put it in the 2X2 and drew lines to show it, and noticed that it's also a die clash reverse. I wasn't about to break it out to get a pic, so I did the best I could. In hand it's more evident when viewed in the 2X2 than it shows here. What's that worth?

I'll take the '21-S over all of them, put together! Very nice.

It is interesting to see that you have a 1924-D rotated die wheat cent. I got one off ebay a few years ago and started the below thread. My coin is in worse shape than yours but the rotation is closer to 90 degrees. It looks like yours is closer to 15 degrees. It makes you wonder if the mint created these off-sets at about the same time.

What do you grade that one? 30 or so?

I might go EF-45 on the 1924 but no higher than a VF-20 on the 1921-S.
