I have this 1902 Morgan that looks like there is doubling on the date on the obverse and there is a line between the "s" in states that connects to the wing on the reverse. I cant find my loupe right now so as soon as i do i'll post better pics. Can you guys tell me if these are good errors or not? i'm still learning. Thank you

Any shot for closer pics? Try a scanner. Mine works wonders.

Ok i couldnt find this in the VAMS, but i'm pretty sure that the 2 in the date is doubled. I dont think its machine/strike doubling and i dont think its die detereration but im still new to this. Im thinking about sending it in, does anyone else think that i should. Thanks in advance.

It appears to be VAM -1 with a "filled 2". In the earlier days of VAM, it was called VAM-2, but later removed and put into VAM-1 as a "striking problem variation" my words , not theirs. There is a photo in my old VAM book, but couldn't find one on the website above.

The obverse die is the same, just that some got a "filled 2" and most a normal 2.
