Yeah, the Kennedy silver proofs are amazing. Tremendous looking cameos and great values--since 1995, the mintages are under 1 million every year, and can be had in PR 69 slabbed for $30-40 each. Most underrated coin there is. That coin cost me $30, and I have paid hundreds of dollars for ugly looking Morgans..lol :) :) :)

  5. No, no it's not. But, I do like them. :thumb:

You pay $30 for those? I have 4 or 5 slabbed ones that I paid at most $20 for.

    I know, mine are too.

1958-D Roosevelt Dime. Just a crazy great example with two-sided rainbow color. I bought this for $78 on eBay.

For clad ones that is about right. For silver ones, you pay $30-40. That is the going rate for 1995-2011 silvers. Check it out in the marketplace. :)

Now now, be nice. My point is that someone can easily get a nice coin for $29.95 with shipping, and not overpay, or go for tremendous expense. After years of paying hundreds and sometimes thousands for Morgan keys, it is nice to have a beautiful coin for comparatively little. :)

Hey guys, cool that you linked to my article from the other site! :)

I would add 2011 and 2012 to the side-by-sides, but I stopped buying proof sets after 2010 because they are so ugly! I do have a 2011 dime that is in a side by side deeper in that write-up, but that's only because I collect proof Roosies. By 2010 every US design now uses laser-etching for the frost on proofs. They are outright hideous.
