It's been said over and over on this forum... learn to grade for yourself, then buy the coin, not the plastic.

That said, we're all in a growing / learning mode. TPGs - and CAC - simply provide a learned opinion for what it's worth.

Those with less skill lean on the TPGs while "moving on up" (there ... I just dated myself)

If someone on this forum is threatening you, definitely you should forward those on to Peter for him, or one of the mods or admins, to take action against them.

 

Then the member whom I posed that question to, is contradicting themselves.

They stated they don't give a crap(his word) about the green bean, yet, he'll spend the $10 to submit coins to CAC hoping for the green bean.

 

And the reason why all MS64s are NOT the same, is because not all MS64s were graded by the same grader and each grader would have their own opinion on what should be a MS64 :thumb:

 

What would be threatening enough to you? If someone implied that they would rape me and my daughter in the alley, would that be threatening enough. This is not the first time, BTW, and yes, I had complained to the moderators. I doubt they can police outside the forum.

But if they don't know what you look like, I don't see them going through with that kind of threat. Last time I was in Brooklyn, it was quite large.

Here on the CT forums, the mods and admins can and will, do something about it, up to and including banning the member in question.

 

More than likely whoever threatened you over something as stupid as this is probably a schizophrenic shut-in who went into a manic craze over your calm reasoning and well-made points. The chance of them carrying out anything more than incoherent cryptic cyber babble is as likely as every one of us here hitting next week's powerball at the same time.
