I found this coin and would appreciate any help in identifying it. I can't find it anywhere on the internet.
A better pic or scan would help. It looks to be a South Korean token of some sort, either transportation or gaming. Again a closer pic would be helpful. Joe
Both pictures are upside down based on the shape of the characters, which seem to be European letters on the first pic and are definitely Korean characters on the second pic. Nothing on the piece indicates North, South, or pre-1945 unified country but it isn't a coin (money) or a monetary token (psuedo money).
Actually, both images are correctly oriented and the inscription on both sides is Korean (Hangul). The Korean at the bottom of the top image is 시내버스 which translates as "local bus". The Korean on the bottom image is 학생 which translates as "student". It is therefore a student bus token and the image of a bus can be seen at the top of the top image. Gary
