Okay, I'm officially confused! I have a 2011-S Jefferson Nickel graded PF 69 Ultra Cameo by NGC. When I enter the certification number on the NGC site, the results say "Total Graded at 69" 1742. I would assume this is the total number of 2011-S Jefferson Nickels that NGC has graded at at least PF 69, maybe even Ultra Cameo. However, then I click on the NGC Census link, it shows me that there has been 3433 PF 69 2011-S Jeffersons graded by NGC with the PF UC designation. So which is it: 1743 or 3433? To gum it up even more, the census shows a total of 4831 graded with the PF UC designation in grades PF 68 through PF 70. Please help me understand this! Thank you all for your help.
Here's the complete NGC census for 2011-S proof Jeffersons. PFUC ------------------ 3 68's 1742 69's 796 70's PFUC (early releases) 2 68's 1691 69's 597 70's Total------------------ 5 68's 3433 69's 1393 70's Grand total 4831 My understanding is that when you enter a cert number, you get the census for exactly that grade and designation (i.e. no higher or lower grades or designations)
Thanks for the info, yarm. After reading your reply and checking all 5 tabs on the coin census page, I still couldn't find the early release info. THEN, I noticed that next to "2011-S" there was a small, blue right-facing arrow. Clicking on that gave me the details! Thanks for the reply!
