    My 2008 Red Book puts a full RETAIL value of $18 on it in VF20.

    Series 1928E $5 United States Note, (Legal Tender). Just under 110 million printed, and yours appears to be in FINE condition, and worth somewhere between $10 and $15 retail. Typically the star note version of this note is usually worth about 10 times as much.
