Does this Morgan have "wear in the hair" ?

    Looks like it does on the high points of the hair.

    I would say no. you can see the micro flow lines just in front of the ear. if there was wear on the coin they wouldn't be there.

    No, it looks uncirculated--I'd say a 62 or 63--that isn't "wear in the hair." Those are nicks.

    I think it looks uncirculated as well. Has nice hair and thats usually the best way to tell an AU from BU

    I believe it does have wear. The hair above the ear as well as a couple other high areas appear to be a darker grey color. This is indicative of luster breaks. So, I am going to say this coin is AU. However, the scanned image isn't that good and it is very difficult to grade using photos. In hand inspection is needed...but from what I can see, I am going to call it AU and I'm pretty confident in that.

    Based on that pic I would say it does have wear. And not just on the hair.
