You know what, I'm weary of that company and you should get a second opinion. I see a lot of unmarked cleaned coins on their site.
Thanks for your investigation mrbrklyn and areich. If the previous one does exist I would buy it, but I too am questioning the company. That is the strike and eye appeal I am looking for, now from a reputable dealer. A dealer list I have been using is: www.harlanjberk.com www.millersmint.com www.vtcoins.com www.alaskacoinexchange.com The 3 coins posted are from this site.

I requested some images from wscoins. Fastcoins only has a couple to choose from and I don't seem to agree with their grades on them... I will see what wscoins comes back with. Anyone else have some links to some FE cents or have other dealers I could consider?
I like the looks of this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-1858-U...04?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item2570b9cb20 Take your time & look at a lot of them. I think you can stiil find some nice ones at a reasonable price. I got this one last year for $31
According to the listing it is "fair" condition. If I could get it for fr-2 money I would. Nice looking coin. Good detail on the reverse and obverse for that matter. Thanks for the link.
Still no reply from wscoins... I dug up a few more options. Thoughts on these: Better than the original #1? $40 (I like this one) $55
The first has stronger obverse details but the second has stronger reverse details. Both are great coins though.
Thanks for the feedback everyone. From the 1st round people liked: Second round a few mentioned: On these Flying Eagle cents I have seen a variety of color tones. The first one here is quite grey, while the 2nd is light tan. Can someone explain the reason for the difference in color? Something to do with the 88% copper, 12% nickel composition? I do like the look of the 2nd one listed here. Again, I appreciate your comments on these $40 and under coins...
