Hello Everyone! I am fairly new to CRH and thought I would make a log of my results of coin roll hunting. I started CRHing at the start of May 2012. All boxes of coins are Brinks in my area. Here is a run down of my results for May 2012. Pennies: 9 Boxes of pennies: 31 lbs. of copper Pennies, 49 Wheat Pennies, 2 US Dimes, 55 Canadian Pennies, 1 Bermuda Penny, 1 Penny from Panama, 1 Canadian Georgivs VI D G Rex ET IND IMP Penny. Dimes: Box 1: Skunk $250 CWR: Skunk – 2 Pennies instead of dimes, 2 Canadian Dimes $250 MWR: Skunk – 1 Canadian Dime Box 2: Skunk – 1 Canadian Dime Box 3: Skunk Box 4: 2x 80% Silver Canadian 1965, 1966 Nickels: Box 1: SKUNK Box 2: 4x War Nickels! Between the two boxes of nickels I found 45 pre-1960 nickels. Just keeping them for fun. 7 Canadian Nickels (2 were 99.9% nickel!). 4 2009 Nickels. $1 Estados Unidos Mexicanos (1 Peso??) Halves: $460.00 CWR: Skunk $4.50 Teller Tray: Skunk This seems to be a fun hobby so far, I'll keep posting as I go! :smile
Got $4.00 in penny rolls from Burger King today. All were mint rolls of 2012 cents except for 3 rolls. Out of those 3 rolls I found one 1936 wheat penny.
Went to my usual Credit Union and asked for $3.00 in Pennies, Also asked for any $2.00 bills or weird bills. So the young lady started digging in the Presidential dollars, and Halves. I saw a either 40percent or a silver half So I told her I'll buy the halves. Got my stuff and took off. At home I went into my pocket and came up with a 40 percent half. Also about a roll of copper cents. Nice grab for today.
