BTW how did the photo turn out?

Judging by the rim, is this an off center coin, or just the way it was minted?

I don't have a book with me, but that is a store card and I would not consider it off center as quality control for these was almost nonexistent. Nice token!

It looks like a partial collar strike- part of the token was
restrained and part of it was outside of the collar.
    Also called railroad rims.
    Nice photos.

    You have a 630M-1a in Ruluas book it's an R-3 . Nice CWT . But in Fulds book it's 630M-13a with the 1143 reverse . Probably my mess up , I'd use the Fuld # 13a .

The specimen featured is the NY630M-13a, with a rarity rating of R-3.

    Its reverse is 1143.

See pgs. 246 and page XXXII in Fuld's U.S. Civil War Storecards.

Without it being in hand, I'd guestimate it at Choice VF. Hope this helps folks.

    I concur.

And I think it's a beautiful example of that Broas variety.

I love this one , it's almost like a Patriotic with the 1143 reverse and the Our Country on the obverse , yet it's a New York store card , very cool .
