So I traded a roll of 40% halves and a little cash toward these commemoratives and some WLH's I wanted these have gorgeous toning IMO. The 1926 is AU and the 1953 is BU, I'm going to eventually get every comemm I can afford. carver obv.jpg carver rev.jpg seq obv.jpg seq rev.jpg

I just pulled this out of a roll of pennies. I like it, I think it looks amazing, however, it is nearly impossible to get pictures to show toning. This thing is crazy toned.

1940 Proof Lincoln Cent. I bought this PCGS graded (PR64 RB) proof Lincoln with carnival obverse toning for $77 off eBay in April. I submitted a max bid of $84 just before the auction ended and barely won it. The sellers photos were somewhat lacking (which is why this fired off at a relatively low price), but the photos did show hints of color, enough to spark my interest. I just got this PCGS TrueView photo back yesterday, which did a fantastic job capturing the great color and luster on the obverse of this coin.

Arrived today. Beautiful coin. Dark toning on both sides, but the reverse looks particularly stunning in hand. Did my best to capture it but I suck at pics lol.

I saved for this one and looked for this one for quite a while. I'm happy with the quality for my type set. It's a very pretty chocolate brown in hand, with some nice flow line detail near the edges. Also, a very decent strike of the reverse, whereas a lot of these can be weak or mushy.

Thanks! It's in a PCGS AU53 holder, and I'd say it's pretty nice for the grade. This is now my oldest US coin! :)
