100 coin value

    Sryy if it looked like it was an advertisement for selling, it was only really a what are theese valued type of thread. If even so it has to be changed placed it's fine and excuse for all the truble. Here are the coin i'd like to get info about the value of ( what the whole lot would more or less be)

    Ok well here are the coins:
    ( all images are from internet but they look pretty much like mine)
    14-one pennies, 1914 up all coins look more or less like theese:

    11-1 francs,1913 up. all coins look like this one excep the 1913 wich is a little darker

    theese next coin are ( i think as a guess) very fine: 1956 one shilling, 1956 sixpence, 2 1999 1 krone and 1 1997 one. 1963 1 krone, 1967, 1988 p dimes,1956 and 1963 100 lires, 3 1996 1 pesetas,1962 50 lires, 1990 500 lires.

    4-half pennies 1959-1967.

    alfonso XII 10 centimos 1878

    6-5 francs 1960-1963 shiney and visible.

    2 francs 1898 all visible and shiney.

    new penny 1969 VF

    4- lincoln cents 1980-1990 F

    1-50 french cents 1888 visible with efort

    1-25 pesetas 1982 F-VF

    2-5 american cents,1972 1980 F

    1-1 deutsche mark, 1967 VF

    1-5 french cents, 1971 F1- 100 reis ( brasil) 1889 ( really small numbers)

    1-25 spanish cents 1937 doesn't arrive to F

    1-10 somethings with a butterfly from new zeland, 1978

    1-1/2 franc, 1965 F nearly VF

    3-10 denmark ore, 1965, 1969, 1970 all F

    1- 100 pesetas 1997 F

    1- nederlands 1 cent, 1953, F

    1- green 1880 spanish coin.

    2-1 somethins from new sheoel ( that was on the coin) F

    1-10 something from japan or china, the numer 10 in surrounded by this laurel crown. F

    1-starange arab coin, thing and small F

    1- half dime, 1853 ( has a small hole to use as pendant) visible but warn down

    and more random coins i haeven't got dtrenght to write don now, if you ak me to mention theese 24 i will, any questions are welcome. Sorry for the long list and this large quantatie of coins, any advice is thanked.

    What you need to do is get yourself a couple of the Krause catalogs. They are properly called - Standard Catalog of World Coins. They are issued by century and it seems you need the 1801 - 1900 and the 1901 to Present volumes. You can find used examples on ebay rather easily and inexpensive.

    Oh thanks. Where is the best place to buy theese Krause catalogs?

    Amazon.com and Barnes&Noble. com are also good sources, but for your purposes I agree with Doug that EBay is the place to look as you don't really need the latest (and most expensive) editions.

    IDing your coins without pictures or more detailed descriptions is pretty tough but I am going to take a WAG that your oriental coin with the 10 in a wreath is a bronze Japanese 10 yen, either Y#73, 73a, 97.1 or 97.2, depending on the date. If so it has 4 to 6 Japanese characters below the 10, which is the date.
