I think you will be happy! Some of the golden toning, which I love. Of course they all have beautiful luster. Myabe there will be some full steps in there.

These sets are are so nice. Great pick up merc.

It's going out of the set and into my dansco... I saw the luster, which looks great. As best as I can tell, the centers of the obverses don't look bad, so I am thinking there has to be a couple FS'ers in there. I think I paid... $83 and change or something? About $7.75 a coin, or so.

Looks like a win to me. Be sure to follow up when you get them.

I missed out on a Merc short set that looked almost this promising -- it went crazy low, but I was trying out a new sniping package and it silently decided not to enter my bid. I might've gotten it for under $40.

I saw lots of those in the past. I think some company put them together for sale in CW or such. All of the ones I saw were fresh from original rolls, so I think you will like the quality.

That is a fantastic price. I have seen the prices fluctuate between $75-$125 for this set. So you are near the low end, which is awesome. Looking forward to seeing some sweet images when you get them!

I'd never go over $100 unless there were some tougher FS coins. They've been settling in the $75-$90 range recently.

Looks good to me. As was said previously, absolutely dripping with luster. Sometimes, ya just luck out on E bay auctions. :)

I think the likelihood that there are a couple of gems is pretty high. I like the gamble. Be sure to update us with photos of the best coins in the set when you get it.

Lessoned learned from all of this: Don't ever post an Ebay auction here until it is over. :)

It looks like it should be nice. Ive got an identical set and holder only the holder is white. I got it for $75 at a show in 2009 and I thought it was a steal at the time. I used to see these sets go for $130+ on ebay. You didnt over pay.

Actually, by ebay pic standards, that pic is nowhere near crappy.:)
Nice pickup and we'll be looking forward to the new pics when you get the coins.
