    I can almost guarantee you it's fake even without looking at it. What is the weight of it and is it magnetic?

    There is - it's called a scale or balance. You can get a decent digital one on Ebay for $10-20.

    The coin is a "fake" or, more accurately, a "fantasy" piece.

    Sichuan ("Szechuen") Province never made a "one tael" coin.
