You also included a photo of the reverse. Do you think it is also a DDR? Looking at your photos it would appear you have a DDO. FS-25-1967-101 (in CPG). CONECA DDO-002. (See page 219 of CPG, 5th Edition, Volume II.) If you have not already done so you should read up on the differences between true die doubling and strike doubling. A good read is: Determining Die Doubling from Other Forms of Doubling by JT Stanton (who, along with Bill Fivaz, wrote the CPG).
I have more photos of the reverse, thanks for pointing out a possible ddr i am not sure if it is a ddr since sms coins have proof like features. This type leads me to guessing.
I'm sorry folks and I really hate to say it, but the Quarter in the OP is not DDO-002. DDO-002 is Class I rotated Hub Doubling which goes Counter ClockWise. 2-O-I-CCW (3); FS-25-1967-101 (026.5) This would cause a lessor image to the "right" of the lettering in LIBERTY. What I see is simple machine doubling which can be quite common on these SMS coins.
