Thx so much m8! I know this difficult without a pic, but the head on the front is facing the other way, looks female too, coin is quite beat up. Was found on an open cast coal mine in uk about 6ft down!
I suppose your coin is a Reader's Digest imitation of an Austrian ducat. It was issued in the nineties.
A genuine coin weighs 3,4909 gram; the Reader's Digest imitation is much lighter. Catalog value in Krause for a genuine coin (Austria KM#2041.2; gold fineness 0.9860) are: VG/F/VF/XF/Unc:80/160/275/550/850 US$ Especially with the year 1752 you have to be aware it could be an imitation (in fact in brass clad aluminum)
Thx so much bart! u r a star! Don't let anyone tell u different. The coin is in a fair to poor state. its been under ground 4 years. edited to comply with forum rules You said copys were made in 1990, coin was found in 1980's. i havent got a cam or scales but will endever to give u more info as i find it. Thx again Rob.....
