I got this bill that I believe has a face value of 50 c. I was wondering what is it worth in it's current condition. And yes I wear gloves and store it properly. Here is the link to the pictures.
That is a fractional currency note #FR1312. My book lists that note at 32.50 in VG but i believe your note might only be in good, hard to tell without having the note in hand. Richard
Great history lessen here.... That note, along with the 2, 10, and 25 cent notes were the first series of fractional currency issued to address the hoarding during the Civil War. Subsequent designs continues into the 1880's
