So today I finally opened my 2006 platinum Eagle flyer fro the Mint. Looking at the low mintage numbers of both the gold and the platinum PROOF eagles, one person with enough capitol could corner the market in a given year of a given type. Say the 1/2 ounce gold proof is $420 with a mintage of 10,000, someone with 4.2 million could buy the lot. Sit on it and maybe send to grade, and turn them around for a nice profit. Of course, myself I still own no AGE's, but...anyone have 4.2 to lend. Drew
