1914-D One Cent - help with grade and real world value

    Pictures attached - all comments on grade and value are most welcome! I'm thinking G-04 or G-06...? Not my pics, just posting for a friend. Thanks.

    Being optimistic id say VG-8. Either way nice coin. I still don't own one of those.

    The color looks good. I'll guess 6 or 8 on the grade.

    i will go with g-6 but im always sceptical about the authenticity of most 1914 Ds. there are soo many good "tooled" ones out there

    Agreed, must be careful with these. I've seen a few VERY convincing ones being sold at a local coin show for a heafty sum of cash :eek:

    Grade: G-4 to G-6 (ish)

    G-6. The mint-mark does look a bit fishy.

    Better than my G-4 , It might even make low VG . Nice strong rims , and the mottos letters don't blend into the rim at all .

    That is way too good for a 4. From what I can make out, I would say 8.

    Agreed. Reverse has great detail, and Lincoln's face still has some depth to it.
