No - actually it is very clean for a circulating clad and you might look to see if you can find one much better.

Look at another one for example, which i plucked because i thought it might be good.

Both show circulation signs as the first one you posted. Circulation wear, marks, and the W. Virginia reverse has spots all over above and beneath the bridge.

As I stated, it looks like it too.

    The

The NY coin has rim marks scatches in the LI partr of the map and overall a rough chattery surface on the fields. The number 1 is also hit rather hard. And yet this coin is lusterous and bright in the hand.

The West Virginia coin, one of my favorite designs, BTW, is likewise chattery in the fields and was released from a fresh roll and probably never saw circulation.

The Hawaiian coin, OTOH, has almost spotless fields on the front and back and only a minor scatch on the rim. It came from the same roll of the WV coin did and is in a far above average condition for a Circulating States Quarter example.

You forgot, or aren't seeing, the gouge under the N on the NY reverse, and the scratch along SOL's gown.

I'm very confused why you're showing us these.

Are they remarkable or significant in some way?

I mean...I have circulated examples of state quarters too...

For some reason, Hawaii's the only SQ I've never found in circulation.
