The 1921 Peace Dollar would be valuable if it is genuine. Does it stick to a magnet? (If so it is a fake.) What is the weight (to the nearest 0.01 grams)?

The 1921 Peace dollar (assuming it is genuine) is worth quite a bit. It looks to have some odd toning on the back and maybe an old cleaning. I'd say XF-AU, which would probably range from $60.00 to $90.00 (from a dealer). The 1883 Morgan looks cleaned, but silver is silver, and right now it would be worth between $21.00 to $22.00. The 1851 Large Cent isn't worth a lot because dealers have a hard time selling them. I'd say that would be worth about $5.00. Hope this helps.

My inclination was to say that the Morgan was fake, but looking at it closely maybe not. I'm just not certain.

What is the blue spot on the reverse of the peace dollar? Peace dollars are one coin I'm not overly familiar with but the blue spot can't be good.

If you want to learn FIRST buy a Red Book but don't pay any attention to the prices read it look at all the series find one you like then find a book on that series. Study auction sites check out dealer sites on the web....LEARN FIRST

    Almost forgot this www.pcgs.com/books.

3 posts, all a minute apart. Do you hit "post reply" instead of enter for a new paragraph? I bet you're 13k of posts should actually be more like 1.3k of posts. They do have an edit button as well.

As for the coins from the OP, cool finds if they end up being genuine.

Doubtful for the reasons I outlined. This reaction can be categorized as "Grade This for Me and it better be GOOD.". Investigate the issues I raised and focus on what is, not what it is that your hoping for.

The 1883 Morgan is a common date and in that condition is worth melt or $21.55 at the current spot price of $27.86.

The 1921 Peace dollar, if that is real can have some good value to it as those were struck in high relief in 21. But something doesn't look quite right about that to me, and looks like there's some type of damage on the reverse.
