Need to clean the slab. A bit out of focus as well, probably because of the dirt.

I think I'm going to sell this camera and get something else. This cost me $170 and I don't like it. I can't adjust anything on it, even in program mode.

If I put more light on it, it just glares out.

 

This. A thousand times this. MORE LIGHT!!!!

 

I'm not sure what camera you use,but in program mode you can only adjust the ISO. you should shoot in manual mode. adjust the ISO ,shutter,aperture , fstop etc... according to light conditions

 

and yes more light

 

and don't forget to adjust your white balance

I can see the spots better. If you ever get your lighting right, I might really hate that coin.

 

What photo editing program are you using? I dinked around with your photo and lightened it up a bit.....
