Hello This is my first commemorative foreign coin and my first coin photograph ever. I took this photograph with regular livingroom light and a Sony Cybershot camera DSC-W550 with a Carl Zeiss Lens. Anyone want to guess the grade of this new coin? Amanda
I am not sure what the criteria is for grading painted coins, but that has to be some form of medium to high grade proof.
It appears to be a proof strike due to its sharp definition. I called it a PR-67 due to a few visible hair lines, I think that is as close as I can get without the coin in hand.
There is. There is also an interruption of the paint on the stone side, if you can see it. This also affects the grade? Mandy
