The souvenir sets usually included these large copper tokens in their sets they sold at the mint.

I have had one of these since I was a little child. I kept it in my IKE Dollar Whitman album and since it was not a coin, I played with it often. Ever seen one of these circulated?

Thank you everyone for your opinions im really getting better at picking some of the better raw ones but they seem very hard to come by in high grade and also alot of shop owners laugh me out the door or look at me like im crazy when i ask for raw Choice BU or Slabbed high grade Ikes. They are also hard to photograph and often look better in hand until you get out the cam and all the annealing and hits get magnified.

I miss the days previous to all this "precious metal" hub-bub where coin shop dealers cared more about collectors, and less about their store being a metals exchange...

Ha. Pretty awesome to see one circulated, though. I should break out a few and use them as pocket pieces.

It is super rare with a PCGS population of 0 in that grade. It is a key to any registry set.
