You get 500,000 "photons". This is equal to $5.

Buy a silver dime (the coins on this site are expensive.) for $4.75.

You have to pay a "buyers fee" of $1.

The 475,000 photons will be used, all you have to pay is $1 (and that covers shipping).

I just got a silver rosie for a buck.

I saved $1.25. Silver dimes are $2.25 locally.

I got a silver quarter for 25 cents yesterday by...searching through rolls of quarters. You can do the same with dimes and get them for 10 cents. :p

    Cheap half-dollars

I know how we all love to hate Littleton, but I still get catalogs from them. The last one had an offer to join the "20th Century Half Dollar Club. They will send you a Walking Lib, Franklin and 1964 Kennedy for $19.99 plus shipping, handling and delivery charge. Might not be a bad deal (you can cancel the membership at any time). If you decide to try, the number given was 1-800-645-3122.
