Ever get a coin deep under your skin? Ever get coin lust so bad, you think about it endlessly? Right now, I am lusting for a particular coin, and have to wait for next month's budget to get it. Not like it is back-breaking, but I have spent what I have allocated. Yet, I have to wait, and must have that coin now. Anyone else ever get like that? For want of spending $500, I am going crazy. :)

One morning I woke up and just had to have a $3 gold piece so I went out and bought a AU53 1859 $3 gold piece PCGS.
That was a nice coin but long gone.

I have it 24/7.....some days are worse than others.

When it's bad I get to shaking and my blood pressure zooms into the danger level. I'll go to my "coin room" shut the door, get on the computer and start hunting for a cure. It was so bad once that it took 2 years to find the cure......:D

I have it right now. But I'm wanting a bunch of different proof, mostly early ones.

Between the age of 10 and 15, I used to push around a lawnmower and knock on the doors of everyone with high grass and earn money for the coins that I wanted. It started because I really wanted a St. Gaudens piece and didn't have the $500 that they were going for.

    :D...Now that's funny.

I did the same from 1968-1999. Got back to collecting after 31 years of raising my bunch. It was fun then and it's fun now.

Yes, especially with ancients. Sometimes its the toning or its how it was struck or something else. Usually its my luck that the said ancient is outta my usual price range for the lusted piece so I just move on.

I don't really have it for a particular coin but I have an all-consuming excitement for the coin chow this coming Saturday. It's like a fire in my belly.

All the more reason to have special funds set aside for when that truly special, gotta-have-it coin comes along. You could also consider building a relationship with the "right" dealer. Once established, this could be a non-issue.

Most everyone falls in love now and then, but sometimes it is best to wait a few days to see if its true love or just a coin crush.

    Coin lust? Never.

Parma envy? Absolutely. Then, I got one.

If you have coin lust for more than 4 hours, call your doctor.

Call your local numismatist. Or use home remedies like heritage or teletrade. :)

Coin lust - no. Not any more - now just use patience looking for the right coin. It takes a while to find the right coin sometimes, but it is worth it.

Do they have coin acquisition syndrome Cialis?

  21. I never had the problem.
After i became disabled the only money i have is just for the bills that i have.
You get use to it and its not sooooo bad.
I see lots of coins i like but they never bother me when i know they are far from what i could pay.
Thank god for pocket change and sometimes metal detecting.
Its really not that bad and ill bet any of you here i love the ones that i get as much as those high dollar coins i see listed here on coin talk.
There are many coins that get listed here that are very nice and you are lucky to own them.
I may be just a little enviaus of some here that can afford these but i still love the coins and the knowalge that comes with each post.
