Can someone tell me which series of Silver Certificates ($1) were beingn printed in summer 1956? I am no sure if it was G or H.

This is the 50th anniversary of Don Larsen's perfect game in the World Series, and I want to send him one to autograph with a special inscription.

    Thanks!

Summer of 1956 - All $1 SC's issued between June 1956 and September 1956, inclusive, were Series 1935E

Series 1935E notes were issued between January 1953 and December 1957.

Series 1935F notes were issued between December 1957 and July 1961.

Series 1935G notes were issued between June 1961 and November 1962.

Series 1935H notes were issued between June 1963 and October 1963.

Series 1935F-1935H notes were printed concurrently with 1957-1957B notes, from 1957 through 1963. The former were wet printed in 18 note sheets, the latter were dry printed in 32 note sheets, as are all current notes.
