    Thank you!

I think I'm doing okay, considering I had to sell almost my entire collection a few years back when I lost all my post-undergrad jobs...and had to use my coin collection to pay the post-undergrad bills. Since then, I've adopted a policy (learned here from a YN, surprisingly enough) of buying 3, keeping 1 (or a variation on that theme.) My collection as a whole is entirely "free" at this point.

I should probably find my favorite foreign coins and add those to the group...

    Maybe in June...

    :)

So... what's the story behind the "Caveglia & Dunn" token on page 3 of your album? A business in St. Louis, perhaps? (It appears to be stamped St. Louis on the reverse).

According to my grandmother, it's the only surviving token (that my family owns, anyway) of a store they used to operate in Pinkneyville, Illinois. I've shown it to numerous experts on tokens of Southern Illinois and no one has ever seen one like it. As far as I know...it's unique.

Nice coins. I too had to sell everything some years back. I said I was not going to keep on with this hobby but, somehow, I now find myself starting to get sucked back into it....lol

Anyways, I think your coins are nice, congrats!

Ugh me too! I was absolutely surprised to find it was real. Not a high value coin - but still - not a bad example of type!
