Box of halves - 2 40%ers. The first was an ender I spotted so I opened that roll first. The second was in the third roll I opened. Kinda gets you excited then you do 47 rolls of nothing, but two is better than nothing! I need some 90%ers mojo! Hitting the road today and hope to search some banks, maybe I will get lucky heading out of town. For some reason I think Franklins are turning into my favorite coin, I only have 3, but I just really enjoy that coin and want to find more.

Well I have something to report again...however it is very small. Last week I found a 1964 Canadian nickel in the drawer at work, so I swapped it for my own nickel. Again, this week (Wednesday I think.) I found a 1963 Canadian nickel in the drawer. Both are 99.9% pure nickel. I know it isn't silver, but hey it is nickel bullion.

Not unless it's in exceptionally good shape or you're putting a nickel album together

$330 bag of dimes - skunk
2x boxes of dimes; 4 roosies.
    3x boxes of halves; 1 '64, 1 40%'er, 2 40%'ers and a '73-S.

Not a bad day minus the skunk bag of dimes. Also picked up 3 boxes of nickels (1 is solid 2012's, ugh) and an $80 bag of nickels to go through tomorrow and Sunday while working.

Also picked up $200 in ikes off my favorite teller.

Oh, and I did about $300 in CWR's of Q's and D's with nothing. Officially done with CWR. Did get a lead from one teller who said she's got "hundreds" of silver dimes, I gave her one of my old business cards and told her to contact me and I'll arrange to buy them or sell them on a 10% commission for her.

Wow that's a lot of searching Merc.

    3 boxes of halves:
    Box 1 = skunk
    Box 2 = 1 40%
    Box 3 = 3 90%ers & 6 40%ers

Also found this oddball Polish drinking token?

The side with beer mug says this:
odzbaja starego pijaka...translates to badge of the old drunkard...LOL

    Side with hobo stick:
pij na starosc pij bracie...translates to drink, drink my brother in old age

I thought you'd all get a kick out of it so I posted it. I found it in the 3rd box. I knew I was do for something weird or foreign...lol

I like that polish token, Chester. Today was my typical amount for a Friday I had off.

Thanks Merc, I like it too. I will have a good time showing it to some of my Polish co-workers on Monday. I'm sure they'll get a kick out it too. I think I might tumble it too. Give me another excuse to use my tumbler some more, and should cleanup pretty well.

The edge itself looked like a really worn half, only it was too fat and too brown so I knew right away some different.

Off to metal detect again tomorrow, back to an old site I hit last week for just a short while, I picked up a '97 Indian head there. So I'm really hoping to score some more old coins, hopefully silver or even gold.

    Happy CRHing all.

$500 coin counter bag today - '64 and '63 roosies and a '73 mexican cinco centavos. Odd to find a old mexican coin about 2 hours from the canadian border!

    Today I did a box of halves....skunk.

Then the teller told me that all branches of the bank will no longer order coin boxes for customers. arggg!

I now have zero boxes to search because I just turned off another bank that was ordering for me. I don't know what I'm going to do....
