here are some more of the coins that i found.. can anyone give their opinion how much their worth or if they are hard to find.. have no idea thanks.!!!
I am no means an expert. Also better pics would be needed to give more accurate prices based on grade. However, I give my opinion on value. The 1862 S half would be around $30 or $40, the second is an 1893 Colombian exposition coin that sold at the Chicago worlds fair in 1893. I would say around $20-$25 for that. They are pretty common though. And the 3rd is a 1905 Barber quarter. Assuming it doesn't have an O or S mint mark that one would be around $10 or so.
Even though the picture is blurry, the half dollar looks to be in nice VF condition. I would say $50+ for it.
The first coin is a seated dime, and it's some what rare, and the one you have is in VF 25 condition. The price depends on the mint mark, it seems like in the picture there is an S, if so it's worth around $80-$87. If it doesn't have a mint mark located under the eagle then it's worth $138-$172. The second coin is a Columbian Expo Commemorative half dollar and it's not that rare, they're fairly easy to get, it's worth $15-$20 depending on who will pay you what for it. The third coin is a barber quarter I'm assuming, and I can't tell if there's a mint mark, so it's probably worth like $10-$15. Thanks for sharing the coins!
The back of the half looks cleaned for sure. Can't tell about the front. Overall doesn't look like much more than an F15 IMO. Maybe VF25.
thanks to all of you... i got more coins that i'll be posting pics.. hope u can help me as well.. thanks again for ur help.. this thing of coin collecting is really interesting.. i found a new hobby...!!
The Columbian looks cleaned or polished, but it could be just the pics. You can get circulated or damaged examples for close to melt, or at least within a few dollars. http://www.ebay.com/csc/Early-Pre1982-/3355/i.html?_nkw=columbian&_catref=1&LH_Complete=1&rt=nc
