I don't know of anything outside of the mint that can make scratches that perfect! And the worn edges go all the way around the edge! I think it might be on the wrong planchet as well! It might also be an inverted coin from the year 9961! If you sell it please let us know!

That dime is what I like to call, a parking lot dime. It's spent most of it's life in a parking lot before someone picked it up.

 

for a second after reading the title and looking at the picture, I thought we were going to lose a member. Thank goodness.

 

I think this is genuine PMS damage.
