I was just looking at my 1968 US mint set, and I noticed that the Philadelphia quarter had a line on the chest of the eagle on the reverse. By line I mean a raised line going up from the right leg to just below the left shoulder. I have never seen this before and was wondering if this was a common thing. I don't have a camera or I would submit a photo. Would someone have an answer? Thank You
We would need a photo to give an answer with any certainty. Sounds like it might be a die crack, perhaps. -thecointrader
