The obverse looks like her, and on the reverse there is a greyhound. She adopted rescued greyhounds. I had been looking for this coin for a while to buy it for her for a present, and never found a nice example. I found this one listed on CNG's auctions 5 days after she died last year.

1793 Chain cent S-2 in EAC VG-8 condition. ex EAC 2005 auction lot#83.
A TPG would probably grade it F-12. It will be going on the auction block in a few months as there is a large half cent collection coming up and I will need some $$ to fill out my half cents.

  6. Redwing117 i think its hopeless for you.
Even when you post your coin in the right thread seems a few want to degrade you and your coin.
Its a neat find and i never get tired of seeing it but now that its been offered 7 mil i like it that much more.
Let the ones that dislike it eat their hearts out.
It will always be something we can all wished we owned.
If some of the others who spray you with insults each time its mentioned should they own that coin i just wonder how many times they would show it off or blog about its value.
Regaurdless of how you got it its a great coin that all would like to have and i think some envey you a lot because you have it and not them.

@melonsmash3r- At the bottom of each post box is "Reply With Quote" that you can click on if you want to comment or respond to a certain post. Another box opens that include the quote. It'll make it easier to see who you are responding to.:)

    This is mine:

It's not recognizing my addy for this coin.
    Not sure what's up.
But I'm on my new computer so that may have something to do with it.

    Working on the problem.

Still don't know what's wrong but at least if you click on the link it works now.

Gotta agree! I got a 1878 CC Morgan that's only worth around $90 tops but it means way more to me because of the day I got it.

Idk what my most expensive is. Most expensive paid would be my 20 cent piece in XF although I didn't buy it, my ex did.
I have an 1829 half in XF and also an 1861-O WB104 half in XF as well, not sure on value of either one of those. I need to keep track of value better but I'm too lazy.
