I'm already signed up, suckers! I'll soon be rich! HAHAHAHAHA! http://www.bradfordexchange.com/pro...m=Shopping&utm_campaign=Direct&utm_term=45261
Hrm... well hopefully you didn't really sign up, but i'm sure there will be a few suckers that think they will make it rich from that one...
If its only the P mintmarks, I will take it as well. The 1895 P will be a nice addition. If it basically is just a year set, the wording on the ad is VERY deceptive. I would object handily if that is what they are truly selling.
You mean it's not a good deal, even with the display box? I wonder if it's too late to cancel... It's a very (intentionally) vague description - the title says 'complete' and further on it says 'every Morgan Silver Dollar issued from 1878-1921' so to me that means all mint marks, but to them I think it means the most common of every year. I also see no mention of condition. For $69 you could get quite a few in mint state. I'm sure someone will take the bait though. Unfortunately.
im on it! and im going to order a bunch of collectors plates as well! gone with the wind; here i come.
i still dont understand if they are newly minted or not. it says a few times these are commemorative coins, but then says some are a century old. are not commemorative coins struck to commemorate? where morgans considered commemorative when first struck?
From their advertisement--it looks as if they are minting commemorative Morgan replicas at the private mint. At first, I thought they were selling common dates, at a non-bargain price in garden variety circulated coins.
Nowhere in the ad does it even mention what grade the coins would be in, though they obviously chose high-end coins to create the ad with. If you zoom on on the picture of the dollar in their slab, it states it's an "AUTHENTICATED | VG COLLECTOR'S EDITION | MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR". LOL
Yeah, it's only VG. But it's authenticated! By no less than the experts at Bradford. What else do you need? Oh, and it's the Collector's Edition, vice a standard $25 VG Morgan. You'd be a fool not to jump on this...
