1983 quarter question

    I got this 1983 quarter from a vending machine today and it looks worn. I cannot determine if this coin was made this was by mistake or if it is just from wear. I was hoping that maybe someone here could tell me if this kind of thing is just wear or if it is an error.

    Thank you in advance for your help, you all have been very helpful and welcoming thus far.

    I can mainly see the difference around the date and the "IN GOD WE TRUST"

    You need to pull out a real camera and take a picture if you want a good assessment on a 1983 quarter.

    You don't need a better camera, those pics are fine. We're not looking at doubling. Nothing special about that coin, just circulation wear.
