Hi everyone, I have just posted a new sample slab article on my new website. I am still learning how to run a website so please bear with me. I hope you find the time to read it, and you find the article interesting. All the Best Alan http://samplecoinslabs.com/index.html/2012/04/28/some-very-interesting-sample-slabs-2/
NGC recloseable holder. OMG NGC recloseable holder. OMG I visited your site & appreciate seeing your ocaisional link to the site here at CT.
Neat!!! Wouldn't re-openable holder have the rish of the coin being damaged, or the coin even the coin being switched? One flaw in that design...
Hi K2Coins From what I understand each holder and insert is made for the coin that is going into it. The whole point is to protect the coin as it is often handled for research, and scholarly study. There was always the risk of a finger print or even a coin being dropped, the whole point of these holders is to protect the coin. The holder also gives the museum staff access to the coin for whatever reason there need be. I am sure the security there is very tight and to switch a coin I think would be very unlikely. Hope this helps Alan
