Any value on this 1960 nickle?

    If by some chance it does have value and more then 5 cents...Why is that?

    Sorry bigbird, no chance. That is a very circulated/damaged nickel. Even in great condition it would not be worth more than 5 cents.

    It a 1960-D and it has no value above face value.

    Bigbird take $20 buy some rolls of nickels, you'll find some really nice finds fron the 50's and 60's. PossibleAU-BU

    Save it for a while anyhow. It's cool to look back at a coin which tells a story about your interests. The only 2009 penny I've found in circulation looks like it lived on a truck stop parking lot. Check coinflation.com once in a while. I think the nickel has the highest metal value among U.S. circulating coins, and it is always running more than 5 cents :hail:
