Can't disagree with a word you said DGJ. Thanks for the intelligent and sincere reply. It is greatly appreciated, as I wondered what was going on here, with most of my remarks being humorous and mildly sarcastic, but intended to be part of a dialogue, not a diatribe.
I apologized already. I reiterate it. Enough about something that folks can't even hold in their hand, and only speculate about. I am sorry I posted the thread in the first place. Mea Culpa (not sarcastic).
Yes you did! I specifically indicated mutual as I think there is another party or two out there that could accept yours and take responsibility for their half of the street.
Oops. Must be his cute kids in those photo's lol. He's I've read a lot of his threads thinking he was the smartest 15 yr old on the planet! I still wish he'd take me off his ignore even if he is my Senior!
I have a 30 year old son who just graduated from grad school this week. SO no kid here either for sure.
md they razzed me about it so much that I just beat 'em all to the punch. Ya see, when the Big Guy said - Let there be light ! - I threw the switch
that would be very sad and the thing is, i wouldn't know for a week later at least I hate that thought.
The only person, from my standpoint anyway, that you owe an apology to is mrbrooklyn. He may be a bit brash at times with his responses; however, he is definitely at the top of the list to learn from here at CT.
I appreciate the thought but there are a dozen better graders here on cointalk or more. Off the top of my head, there is lead, noodles, doug (obviously), Jim, Hobo for sure, Edwaurd, Bones, Richie, RDL, Dutch, Pennylady...just a quick thought ... I'm just an amateur.
Yeah Hobo sure seems pretty solid, I would have to agree there. Also Doug, even with all my warnings he has to give me and when I first met the guy I thought he seemed like big smug jerk. But now I like Doug and he definitely earns my respect. Hes like the gruff coin collecting grandpa I never had but always wanted
I have apologized to all parties concerned. If he chooses to do so, that is his business. TO end the thread for my point of view, there is considerable variation in grading. Nothing new there, and that is what coin collecting is all about. Lots of people are good graders, and lots of them make mistakes. We are all fallible. I did overreact, and I feel he did also--I did apologize, and hope he feels that this is settled.
