this is the second penny that i have found with this weird edge (this one dated 1998.) anyone know the cause & possible value? thanks.
PMD i see these all the time while roll searching. could have been caught in a dryer or something where it rolled along its rim for an extended period of time. Although i am not an expert at all and my opinions are probably best left to myself. Thats just what im guessing some of the experts are going to say.
