I worked a bank in the 70's and came across a coin which is one side a 1963 dime and the other side a penny. I am wondering if it has any substantial value to it. I have never seen a coin like it and it took great care to splice it so perfectly. I figure they may be one other coin like it which has the other halves. Is it worth anything?

More than likely a magician's coin. Need a pic to determine what it is.

He does describe it as a magic coin and novelty, not as a possible error coin. So if he gets his price, it will be a honest sale.

The one on HA was on a dime planchet, the one on eBay has the copper planchet on one side and the silver dime on the other; not to mention the splice/seam on the edge the OP told us about.
