went through some dimes, quarters, halfs, and ikes today. Nothing special in the Ikes. Nothing in the quarters. Dimes yielded two roosies and a 1919 merc(looks like s mm). halves gave a 64d,2x67,2x68d. Still have some pennies and nickels to go through.

    7 Roosies & 2 Mercs from $700 in dimes
    $3 of teller tray halves - 2x40%
BWR Roll of halves - skunk

It is interesting that I was planning on going on a mini bank run, but almost all the banks in the area that I was today had no halves. There must be many more new people searching.

I've seen them for sale before. They're called colorized coins. Some coin collectors seem to hate the idea of these. But I think they're o.k. Never heard of one found in a roll though. Don't think it adds much value but maybe a little bit.

Second box also had 1 40%er. Car broke down (almost positive master cylinder for the clutch went, ugh) haha Fml. :(

my average for a box of halves is less than half of one 40%er :) and you seem to be having a lot of car problems, along with other expenses. May I ask what kind of vehicle you're driving?

    My lousy luck continues:

    1 box of halves: Skunk
$50 in halves from bank: Skunk
$56 in halves from another bank: 1 40%er

    I also found 5 Ikes.

    Where are you silver?

This really is the last straw... Gonna sell my 40% silver, pay off my CC's, and when I get my next bonus (End of July) I am going car shopping. I just hope I can find something with a decent amount of torque, I hate driving the girlfriends civic, it's so freakin' slow.

You can get some nice sport cars in the low 20's. My Challenger was like 23 thousand.

That's a 50 Pfennig coin. Not worth jack now in the real world, thanks to the conversion to the Euro. I think they cut off the conversion from old German currency to the Euro in 5+ years ago.

Wicked excited, just picked up my first bag of nickel from the coin machine. Hopefully I'll have something worth posting about. Geezum crow that bag is freaking heavy!

Yeah the max I'm really comfortable with is $400/mo including insurance... so I'm looking at $15k-$20k... used 350z is probably my best bet right now.
