Sorry Conrad, but in mint notes you can find more... Let's check it then for 1607:
    Gelderland - 633,815 pcs (for years 1606-1608)
Holland - no ducats struck in 1607
West Friesland - 180,880 pcs (for years 1606-1616, in fact - as you wrote correct - to 1612)
    Zeeland - 289,100 pcs (for years 1606-1607)
    Utrecht - 650,870 pcs (for years 1603-1608)
Overijssel - 186,970 (for years 1606,1607, Kampen mint)
Deventer - no ducats struck in 1607
Kampen - no ducats struck in 1607
Zwolle - no ducats struck in 1607
Friesland - 381,000 pcs (it is 2nd muntbus opening from 1615, I got no information about 1st muntbus opening, but 3rd and 4th came as reports for 6 years period, so 1607 mintage can be lost with 1st muntbus as well as it can be included in these 381,000 from 2nd)

That's all I can say about 1607 Dutch gold ducat mintages so far.

Conrad, I wish you the best, but to complete date set (every year from one chosen mint) you will spend a lot of $ and time looking for ducats. Let's see... Almost all ducats after 1916 are pretty common, with few exceptions (1922, 1932). Also Holland almost all ducats struck between 1720 and 1784 you can buy quite cheap and catch up complete date set. But there are some dates you have to pay over $1500 at least for AU condition and it may be no 'replacements' from other mints. So remember about that. Also when you will find pretty ducats from the same year, but several mints - will you reject them because of date set idea? :D

Hehe, I got no idea (yet) but it depends. Don't you consider to buy also pre-provincial Dutch ducats? They are amazing, really! And expensive as well... If so, you have to add at least 30 pcs to your wishlist, but 75% of them you will find only in museum, no chance to buy on free market.

But you were asking about total amount of coins needed to complete date set. I think it will be for sure less than 400. You have to know after Lodewijk Napoleon ducats were struck not every year and it was only one mint in Utrecht. So when was no ducats from Utrecht, you couldn't append this year in date set with Gelderland or Zwolle ducat. That's why I expect rather 300+ than 400+.

    OK. I will check for you - the only dates (attention - based on Delmonte and Krause only!) when it was no ducats struck in Seven Provinces were: 1620, 1625, 1626, 1627, 1677, 1811, 1812, 1813, 1823, 1826, 1842-1848, 1850-1871, 1875, 1881-1884, 1886-1893, 1896-1898, 1900, 1902, 1904, 1907, 1911, 1915, 1918-1919, 1929-1931, 1933-1936, 1938-1959, 1961-1971, 1973, 1977, 1979-1984, 1987-1988.

So you have missed Dutch ducats since 1586 as below:
    16th century - 0 years
    17th century - 5 years
    18th century - 0 years
    19th century - 50 years
    20th century - 58 years
    21th century - 0 years so far :)
I don't check double ducats at all! Only single ones, as you asked.

It gives me 113 years when ducats were not struck. From first ducat (in fact not first because Holland struck first ducat in 1583 ;P) - let's say 1586 until last one 2012 is 427 years, minus 113 gives me 313 ducats in date set including 2012 ducat. I hope I was not mistaken in calculations...
